Along the bank of Fenjiang River, over 20 kilometers long, there are 285 Water Pollution Enterprises. Without sewage collection system and treatment measures, the industrial wastewater of these enterprises and a large number of domestic sewage, which cause serious water pollution, are discharged into the river directly.To clarify Fenjiang River, the process combined bubble aeration adding effective microorganisms with coagulating sedimentation using Pullulans as coagulants was designed, which was used to turn the river water into theâ…´water category of "Surface Water Quality Standards (GB3838-2002)".The study included two parts: 1, experiments in Foshan City, the contents of the experiments were (1) design and construction of devices, (2) design of experimental programs, (3) experiments and result Analysis of three typical reaches - -Shiken industrial park of the tributary of the Fenjiang River, the Lvye environmental protection company of the Foshan River, and the south printing and dyeing mill of the tributary of the Fenjiang River. 2, experiments in laboratory, the contents of the experiments were (1) design and construction of devices, (2) design of experimental programs, and (3) the aeration and coagulating sedimentation experiments of the Huxi River. In order to determine the best conditions for aeration, comparative aeration experiments were designed in the following conditions- -watercourse sewage, watercourse sewage adding sediment of river, watercourse sewage adding activated sludge and different ways of adding effective microorganisms. The experiments of coagulating sedimentation contained two parts. One part was effect experiment which estimated the range of Pullulans dosage, the other one was the orthogonal experiment, which indicated the optimal condition of coagulating,Conclusions of the study: 1, different treatments processes were designed for different reaches of the Fenjiang River. The process for Shiken industrial park of the tributary of the Fenjiang River was aerating river water adding activated sludge and the effective microorganisms combining with coagulating sedimentation. Clarifying the the Lvye environmental company of the Foshan River just aerated river water adding activated sludge and effective microorganisms. The process, that aerating river water adding activated sludge and effective microorganisms combining with coagulating sedimentation, was for the south printing and dyeing mill of the tributary of the Fenjiang River. 2, Up to the standard for CODCr and NH3-N, aerated the Huxi River water adding activated sludge and effective microorganisms was used. In this way, the removal rate of CODCr and NH3-N were 77.4% and 96.0%.
