The oxidation ditch technology is a modified activated sludge system, because of its simple structure, low costs, bearing high organic load, less sludge, convenience in operation and management and stable performance, it's been used more and more commonly as the one of the main technology of domestic sewage treatment plants.Now there are more than 10 designing of oxidation ditch technology in our country, it's an important way to reduce project construction cost, guarantee the treating results by choose the design of oxidation ditch and the parameters suitable for the water treatment of our country. The topic underground the 5 widely used designing, optimizing each calculating method by accounting the treating data of 17 domestic oxidation ditches. All these work has useful exploration aimed to make the design meet the real situation of the oxidation ditch in our country.The topic successfully uses the MATLAB language to program the software of optimizing the design of oxidation ditch for the first time, for the Carrousel oxidation ditch, we can also choose the supporting inverse umbrella aerator. For the characteristics of opening and universality, MATLAB is easy to be modified and expanded; it enables user to add his own unique insights and experiences into the toolbox, which is good for the perfection and personalization of the software. The software has a good GUI contact surface. The example computed result indicated that, this software is easy to operate, and, it has a good computation effect. Therefore, it has a high value in the project practice.
