In recent decades,TiO2 its non-toxic,high activity,good stability,oxidation,and other characteristics,making TiO2 photocatalytic oxidation of refractory industrial wastewater possible.However,TiO2 UV excited to a certain degree of restriction on its application.Large number of studies shows that the modified TiO2 can stimulate expansion of the light response,and will be CuO TiO2 a composite,excitation wavelength visible light can be moved to the red zone.Papers to methylene blue dye (MB) simulated high-color organic wastewater to study and explore CuO/TiO2 visible dyes catalytic wastewater treatment feasibility.Research papers,including CuO/TiO2 photocatalyst Preparation and Characterization,CuO/TiO2 UV catalytic conversion of methylene blue and decoloration factors,CuO/TiO2 visible catalytic conversion of methylene blue and decoloration factors,papers further To explore the natural light conditions CuO/TiO2 photocatalytic dye wastewater treatment actual results.The results show that:Prepared by the hydrolysis using photocatalytic TiO2,load CuO give CuO/TiO2 photocatalyst.The catalyst BET surface area,XRD and ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance characterization,TiO2 by the BET surface area of 181.3 m2/g,CuO/TiO2 the BET surface area of 184.9 m2/g,TiO2 catalysts,the average size of 19.83 nm,are anatase.CuO/TiO2 catalyst for the average size of 25.82 nm.UV diffuse CuO/TiO2 catalyst characterization that the absorption edge is moved to a red 890 nm,said CuO/TiO2 catalyst can be visible excited.On the conditions under ultraviolet light,study found that photocatalytic reaction in this CuO/TiO2 system can be accelerated by adding certain volume of H2O2.pH, photocatalysts dosage and initial chroma of this system affected photocatalytic efficiency obviously.Decolorization of 1000mL methylene blue of 500 times chroma reached 90%after 2h irradiation under a ZY3-150 high pressure Hg lamp with 0.1gCuO/TiO2 photocatalysts and 10mL30%H202 in pH=7 condition.Application for the expansion of light on the CuO/TiO2 catalyst in visible light of the declining terms of methylene blue various factors.Decolorization rate reaches the best when H2O2 is 10mL per 1000mL methylene blue and photocatalysts dosage is 0.1 g. TiO2 photocatalysts also can decolorize methylene blue under alkaline condition,but Decolorization rate reaches the best when H2O2 is 12.5mL and photocatalysts dosage is 0.1g.Contrast experiment under optimum condition shows that decolorization rate using CuO/TiO2 photocatalysts reaches 88%within 2h,which is roach better than TiO2 and Degussa P25.Research in natural light(sunlight) conditions,CuO/TiO2 photocatalyst dye wastewater treatment simulation and the actual dye wastewater,provide for further practical application of the conditions.In the sunlight conditions,TiO2 catalysts and their load after the CuO/TiO2 catalyst for two hours after the methylene blue Decolorization rate can reach 88%and 91%.And at noon in the sunny Decolorization effect is the best,followed by sunny evening,the worst for the cloudy day.Actual use of sunlight dyeing wastewater treatment,CuO/TiO2 catalyst,in the pH=3,the degradation rate was 17.07%,COD removal rate for 36.53%.
