Sizing Press (SP) is a kind of new equipment in hot mill line. It will be reducing the crystalling of continuous metal cast, producing more width kinds plant, and economizing cost of investment if SP is employed in the hot mill line. At the same time it also will increase the economic benefit to the enterprise.This paper discussed the motion characteristic, calculation and analyze of plate in different thickness, material, temperature and width by ADAMS & MATLAB in engineering practice. And constructed the mathematic model of SP, and analyze the structure of side-pressure, and the structure of synchronous. Then the block adjustment design is optimized and the equipment is optimized also by AUTOFORGE. And had a study on the plate force parameter in differernt thickness, temperation, material, width. And also had a study on the executive organization, the angle of blank enclasp organization. It's a supply on academic design of SP.At the present time, the correlative research and productive practice indicate that the main influence to the whole equipment is the lateral pressure on the block. The lateral structure and the synchronal structure are complex. They will be easy to wear badly. So, it's very necessarily to analyze the advantage of the key parts under dynamic load. Then design the key parts.Academic research, design and manufacture of SP are underway moment in our country. It's also significative to have a study on the technological parameter, motion parameter, structure parameter and the key part strength of SP. It's not only filling the blank of SP, but also providing a set of detailed technical handbook about Sp.
