Rubber Accelerator M is the parent of many Accelerator. In its production process, the cake moisture of Rubber Accelerator M suspension acidified is higher than 22% under centrifugal filtration at present. Thus the next drying process is time consuming and high energy consumption. In this paper, we focus on the research of filtration and separation technology on the highly effective dewatering process of Rubber Accelerator M suspension in order to decrease cake moisture after separation.In order to further reduce cake moisture after filtration, Rubber Accelerator M suspension was treated by the compound method of mechanical separation union surface chemistry modification. The research contents mainly dear with: determination of basic property of Rubber Accelerator M suspension; selection of surfactants; research on pretreatment process by using surfactants; evaluation of action effect of surfactants; selection of filtration method and process designing.By measuring basic property of Rubber Accelerator M suspension, this paper analyses the reason why cake moisture is still very high after solid-liquid separation and puts forward the idea adding surfactants during pretreatment could help removing cake moisture. Through adding 5 kinds of surfactants during experimental research about pretreatment, the suitable surfactant is selected. Then this paper further study some pretreatment conditions, such as the adding amount of surfactants. We also separate Rubber Accelerator M suspension after pretreatment under different separation methods experimentally. The results show that cake moisture is lest after vacuum filtration. By analyzing the results of determination of quality after filtration, the quality of cake washed by 1 time water can meet the quality requirement of the products.From the analysis to the experiments the filtration and separation process route of Rubber Accelerator M can be briefly described as follows: suspension→sedimentation→pretreatment by adding surfactants→vacuum filtration→water-washing→drying→product of Rubber Accelerator M. Cake moisture could be decreased to 14%~12% when the adding amount of FL02 is 0.5%~0.75% during pretreatment.This paper provides a certain partial theory basis and abundant experiment data for the improvement of Rubber Accelerator M dewatering and washing process in the industrial production.
