The latest air separation equipments are almost alterable load type internationally, which is a blank in domestic. The research in oxygen producer under alterable condition as well as operation optimization control are all major in practical fumbling experience lacking of relative theory. Aiming at domestic the status of Oxygen producing continuously as well as oxygen consumption unbalanced in steel corporations, this article is based on the 20000 N m3/h oxygen producer in steel plate Tangsteel, discusses the optimization of process parameters in recification tower when air separator under different working conditions, practices and makes progress in practical operation.The main tasks of the article are as follow:1. Introducing the 20000 N m3/h oxygen producer in steel plate Tangsteel as well as the features in the whole process flow and analyzing the possibility of using follow-adjust-control technology to realize process parameters optimization and operating under flexible load,2. Studying the O2-Ar-N2 mathematic module. Adopting Peng-Robinson condition equation and the relative parameters to calculate the O2-Ar-N2 characters which is of great nicety establishes theory basic for the modeling and calculation of the process parameters optimization,3. Establishing mathematic module for recification tower, reflecting the process of air recification exactly which can meet recification calculation under different working conditions,4. Through forming and solving the mathematics model and the simulated calculation of rectification towers in air separation equipments as well as the whole rectification system, using these data as the base of process parameters under alterable condition and figure out the optimization operation results under the four conditions--the maximum oxygen output condition (110%), minimum oxygen output condition (90%), oxygen output designing condition and maximum liquid oxygen output condition.Through the research done by 20000Nm3/h oxygen producer under alterable condition as well as operation optimization control in steel plate Tangsteel, the result shows that the way of rectification towers mathematics model and calculation is reliable and can meet the rectification calculation under all alterable conditions. The actualization of this research will greatly bring down the rate of oxygen exhalation to achieve the purpose of saving energy as well as company operation cost and is also of great value to analyse the rectification process and operation optimization.
