As the rise of the biodiesel producing industries, the supply of cheap glycerin increasing rapidly, which is bound to lead to new glycerine-based industries development. The Preparation of Dichloroproanol from glycerol and futher preparation of epichlorohydrin will be a new direction.Content of this study as follows:1,The effect of different factors on chlorination of glycerol was investigated by the methed of orthogonal experimental design:The optimal conditions for the chlorination of glycerol obtained from experimental results were as follows: the temperature was 105℃, the catalyst was anhydrous acetic acid, the catalyst loading was 8 % (w/w), the reaction time was 4 h.Then using the homogeneous reactor for this reaction, and greatly increased the chlorination rate of glycerol.2,A simple gas chromatographic method for the identification of dichloropropanol was described.Using butyric acid as the internal standard, the quality standard of concentrationρ(mg ? mL-1) for the abscissa, the corresponding standards and internal standard of the A-area ratio for the longitudinal coordinates for the linear analysis. The dichloropropanol regression equation was A= 0.2168ρ- 0.1369.3,Chlorination of glycerol to DCP for the impact of factors order is that the reaction temperature is greater than the reaction time and greater than the amount of catalyst.4,The Kinetics of the glycerol ChlorinationThe intrinsic kinetics of the synthesis of 3-Chloro-1,2-propanediol and 1,3-dichloropropanol from glycerol in homogeneous reactor. The HCl internal diffusion was banished by using the homogeneous reactor. The relation between the reaction rate and the temperature is described by the Arrhenius equation.aThe activation energy of 3-Chloro-1,2-propanediol Chlorinated from glycerol is E=169.106kJ/mol. 1,3-dichloropropanol chlorinated from 3-Chloro-1,2-propanediol is 92.689 kJ/mol. 5,Laboratory simulation of some reaction sections was investigated and designed by ASPEN PLUS.
