The cross-linking polymer ofβ-cyclodextrin derivative and epoxychloropropane retains the inclusive performance of mother molecules, also displays unique polyer effects. It has unique function in the fields of molecular recognition,chromatographic separation and prevention of environmental pollution.This thesis includs the preliminary study on synthesis of polymer-β-cyclodextrin derivative and its function.1.Two kind of polymer-β-cyclodextrin derivative were prepared in alkaline condition,by epichlorohydrin as cross-linking agent, distribute cosslinking polymerization with hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin and carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin.The method of phenol-sulphate acid was applied to determine the crosslinkage of product. The product was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction spectroscopy.2.Study on the proformance of the hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin polymer adsorbing phenol,nitrobenzene,and carboxymethyl-β-cyclodextrin polymer adsorbing phenol.The results indicated that When the initial concentration of phenol was 500mg/L, adsorption ten minutes, the adsorbance of HP-β-CD was up to 14.60 mg/g, removal efficiency was up to 58%,and adsorption four hours, the adsorbance of CM-β-CD was up to10.47mg/g. removal efficiency was up to 38%.When the initial concentration of nitrobenzene was 300mg/L, adsorption fifty minutes, the adsorbance of HP-β-CD was up to 9.30mg/g. removal efficiency was up to 61%.The effect of substitute degree on adsorption capability was less while two different substitute degree HP-β-CD used to adsorb phenol.3.Breakthrough curves was inspected with polymer-β-cyclodextrin derivative adsorbing phenol or nitrobenzene while in dynamic adsorption . The results of experiment indicated that the uprush existed in dynamic adsorption of polymer-β-cyclodextrin derivative.4. Freundlich isotherm adsorption was drawed up. The results indicated that the adsorption equilibrium of phenol or nitrobenzene in aqueous can be described by Freundlich models As HP-β-CD polymer adsorb phenol , nitrobenzene, the formula of Freundlichadsorption model under 15℃is X/m=0.411Cw1/1.5 and X/m=0.196Cw1/1.2. As CM-β-CD polymer adsorb phenol , the formula of Freundlich adsorption model under 15℃is X/m =0.128 Cw1/1.35. The phenolic inclusioncomplex and nitrobenzene inclusioncomplex were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction spectroscopy. The principles of polymer-β-cyclodextrin derivative adsorbing phenol and nitrobenzene were explored from adsorption pattern. The results indicated that the inclusioncomplex were formed as polymer-β-cyclodextrin derivative adsorbs phenol or nitrobenzene.
