After analyzing the processing current situation of the A-alloy hub at present, direct against their shortcomings and deficiencies, and combining various researches of grinding polishing technology at the same time, innovatively propose to the method of belt rub the surface of A-alloy hub. Belt-grinding technology as a polishing and grinding combination of new technology, because of its'higher efficiency and cold grinding, grinding speed stability, high precision grinding and low cost of grinding, is considered as a high-quality, efficient, low energy consumption method and used as a wide range of processing method. It adopts belt which is a special form tool to realise grinding , through the contact-wheel, and at certain pressure,which make belt keep in touch with the surface of A-alloy hub. Due to softness of belt, adaptive of belt grinding ,and diversity movement of equipment structure ,those factors decided that belt grinding extremely suits for polishing complex surface of A-alloy hub.According to the characteristic of belt grinding technological, propose to the polishing procedure of belt which applied to complicated curved surface of hub, introduce the principle and characteristic as well as the ways of hub complicated curved surface. Have pointed out several kinds of important factors of the precision which influence belt to rub. After that analysised the wheel hub complex curved surface, then carries on the structural design of the belt-grinding machine, then produce the machine based on the design request.This thesis'experiment has studied the influences of various parameters on process accuracy and surface quality, and finally obtained better effect of grinding. Analyzed surface quality on the surface of hub, point out the reasons with surface defect and put forward to the precautionary measures. Have recommended the measures to improve the surface quality. Thus guaranteed the high precision and high smoothing on the surface of hub .Through above-mentioned researches, indicate that belt grinding technology can solve difficult problem of polishing complex curved surface of the A-alloy hub. It has opened up a new route for the hub polishing of A-alloy and have higher research value and good application prospect.
