After the 21th century, with improvement of people's standard living level, people attach more and more to environment quality at home, and are apt to using indoor ornamental material with environmental protection. Ceramic glaze tile, called inside wall brick again, is main indoor decorated material, which possesses solidity wear, fireproof, waterproof performance and decorate quality. Diatomite has super fibre and porosity. Ceramic glaze tile is prepared with diatomite and other materials by adopting twice firing technics It has high bending strength(﹥18MPa) and porosity(35%~40%), low water absorption rate(﹤14%), shrinkage(﹤1.25%), and density(1.7~1.8 g/cm3).The research confirms the chemical composition range and the best prescription for body and glaze, through choosing raw materials rationally, such as wollastonite, pyrophyllite, and zircon etc that can be fired soon with a suitable low temperature and low shrinkage, and filling prescription according to experience and paying experimental design, experiment methods of comparing with testing, dynamic observation etc, and adopts modern analysis means----SEM and XRD. By the survey of TG and DSC, the firing process adopts intensify ladder combining slowly firing with fast firing in order to discharge the gas completely to avoid the hole of the needle, guarantee the abundant melting of frit to form the glaze with steady quality. It decreases consummation of energy and improves property of body and glaze to choose suitable technics and additive. The analysis'results of XRD and SEM shows the mainly crystalline phase of body is zircon,christobalite and calcium feldspar, which has a lot of liquid phase during firing process and integrity diatom, and the one of glaze is zircon, quarts and christobalite, and its quarts change cristobalite partly.
