Research And Development Of Automatically Programming System Of LS-WEDM

With the widely applied of low speed wire cutting electrical discharge machining(LS-WEDM) in the aspects of mould manufacturing, aerospace, difficult-to-machining materials and machining of complex-profile products with high precision, the requirement of the automation degree of LS-WEDM is higher and higher, and the automatic programming software of LS-WEDM is playing a more and more important role. In this paper, on the basis of discussion of research status on LS-WEDM at home and abroad, and the auto-programming system of the existing LS-WEDM, an auto-programming system of LS-WEDM is designed and developed. This thesis mainly covers the following research work:The design of the graphic drawing module has been completed. It can draw basic graphics, graphic edit and graphic transformation; By analyse on the construction of DXF file and the meaning of group code and group value, the system can export DXF files of the graphic information which is drawn in the graphic drawing module.It is achieved that getting graphic information from DXF files, by generating the ordered linked list according to the machining sequence of the graphic information, the post processing of LS-WEDM is completed, and at last generating the ISO codes, it also can realize the machining process graphic simulation. It is achieved that the auto-programming of LS-WEDM based on AutoCAD2007.By studying the motion control of machining complex ruled surface, the control method of 4-axis motion control of torsional profile with taper angle is discussed, and the generating of 4-axis machining codes are realized, it is also can make computer graphics simulation about torsional profile with taper angle of LS-WEDM, verifying the validity of 4-axis machining codes.
