Ammonium molybdate are raw materials or precursor for most of the metal molybdenum and molybdenum chemical products. The preparation of ammonium molybdate directly restrict the purity and the chemical and physical properties of follow-up product. At present, nitric acid leaching industrial molybdena to product ammonium molybdate was a traditional method, which was used by most of molybdenum corporation at home. The main disadvantage of this process is the producing of a large amount of ammonia nitrogen waste water, which lead to the eutrophication of water. "Blue algae " is the main result of the water pollution. There is no effective mean of dealing with that.This article aims to explore an environmental friendly "green" technique to produce ammonium molybdate ,which can guarantee chemical performance requirements—water-leach (in place of nitric acid leaching) technology to treat industrial molybdena. The processing parameters and effects of producing ammonium molybdate was systematically researched. In addition, the water-leach mechanism was analyzed:(1) In this paper, processing parameters of the water-leach technology the industrial molybdena were presented.That was, the solid-liquid ratio of 1:4, temperature 85℃, the time of water-leach 150 minutes.(2) The experiments of water-leach impact factors showed that the water-leach of Fe and Ca in the Industrial molybdena were inner spread control. K and Na, and other soluble impurities leaching were basically instant.(3) In this paper, using the water-leach technology, the same quality of ammonium molybdate which was produced by the well-known international companies molybdenum PD / Climax can be got. It was a stabile and the feasible way to the producing of ammonium molybdate.(4) The water-leach technology to treat industrial molybdena does not have a corrosive acid substances, has low equipment, materials require and high security operation. It has effectively solved the problem of ammonia nitrogen waste water pollution and plays an important role in the development of ammonium molybdate and molybdenum industry.
