The investigation region is located in Shaanxi Province Hua County Jindui town.As the opencast is durative, a compound rock slope is formed in there. The slope has the manpower castoff in upper part and the rock side slope in the lower part.At present the north part of slope has the big range deformation, and in the top of the slope having varying collapse, rupture and erode. The stability of the slope is influenced to a great extent by the blasting against slope. If the slope is under the blasting vibration situation, how the dynamic response are? It is of great signification and reference value to research such similar problems. At first, this article introduce the geological condition by search the dynamic response of the Jindui opencast. Then the in-depth research of the influence factor about the stability and the failure mechanism of the compound slope is made on this basis. Finally, the numerical simulation analysis is carried out based on the result of blasting vibration test and the finite element method software-MSC.Marc. Considering there are different loadcases, this article simulated the dynamic responses under three loadcases. By using the finite method software to simulate and calculate, the dynamic response orderliness of the compound slope are as follows:(1)The vibration effects of the slope are influenced badly by the period of the blasting seismic waves. If the period of the blasting seismic are closely to the natural period of the slope, the vibration effects of the slope are obviously. The natural periods of slopes under different loadcases canbe caculated roughly. The sustained time of the vibration has no obvious effect to the vibration effect.(2)The magnified effect of the acceleration should be weak when along the same altitude in the same material. The acceleration can be magnified more as the altitude increased.(3)The magnified effect of acceleration in contact areas of the castoff and the rock is bigger than that in either materials. It also reflects that the dynamic response is obvious by the coupling of two materials. (4)The dynamic response become obviously as the top loads of the slope increased.
