Study On The Relationship Between Rural Settlement Construction And Ecological Restoration In Loess Hilly Regions In Northern Shaanxi

As the vulnerable ecological environment and farmers living in poverty in Loess Hilly regions of northern Shaanxi, it has the typical significance to the guidance on building of the National Eco-rural areas, and promoting the harmonious development between rural settlement construction and ecological environment based on the study of the relationship between the rural settlement development and ecological environment. Many scholars at home and abroad have made great studies on geography of rural settlements, ecology of rural settlements, and ecological countryside, but little on the studies from the ecological point of view and combined ecology with the construction of rural settlements. Taking Loess Hilly regions of northern Shaanxi as the research object, this article attempts to combine the ecological restoration with settlement construction based on the thoroughly investigation and the theory inquisition, as well as the research on the penetration of both construction and development.This article is divided into six parts to analysis the relationship between rural settlement construction and ecological restoration:Part one gives a brief analysis on the background, summarizes the domestic and international studies in related fields, and discusses in brief the content, method, technical route, and creative point of the study.Part two briefly analyzes formation, evolution and its layout characteristics of rural settlement in Loess Hilly Regions in Northern Shaanxi.Part three deeply analyzes the interaction between rural settlement construction and the construction of ecological restoration, based on the summary of the two present situations in Loess Hilly regions in northern Shaanxi, including the effects ecological environment on the village layout, the structure of agricultural production, and village development, as well as the special system formed by ecological environment and rural settlement. And it dwells on the impacts rural settlement on the ecological environment which mainly include two facets: production and life of rural settlement.Part four puts forward four models of the association on rural settlement construction and the construction of ecological restoration, that is, the model of agglomeration brings, the model of small watershed development, the model of integral development, and the model of sustainable development. And the four models are studied about the relation of the two from different angles of space-time view.Part five illustrates the concrete implementing method on how to form the harmonious relationship between the two by citing a specific example.For the conclusion of part six, it summarizes the point of the relationship of rural settlement construction and ecological restoration in Loess Hilly regions of northern Shaanxi and the direction should be further study.
