After entering the 21st century, with the World economic integration and the pace of reform and opening up acceleration, our country has gradually become a global manufacturing center. In recent years through the introduction of technology and technological innovation, the level of material forming technology of our country has reached a new height. Especially in the field of sheet metal forming, product upgrading more and more quickly, need for new technology constantly to satisfy the improve production efficiency, energy conservation and the demand for labor-saving. The efficient spinning is a new sheet flexible forming technology, it composes the traditional spinning technology with the multi-point forming adjusting technology (multi-point forming technology (MPF)is a flexible forming process for 3D sheet mental. Its basic idea is to make traditional mold discrete, using a series of height adjustable elements (little punch) to combine forming surface), forming a new non-mold plate Spinning technology.The efficient spinning translates the point forming of traditional spinning to the line forming, save a lot of modeling time and cost; during the line forming process, the force is uniform and the surface of the plate is smooth.The main contents and conclusions are follows:1. The principle, geometry relation and forming force of efficient spinning technologyThis paper elaborates the principle of efficient spinning technology. During the sheet forming process there are two steps, elastic deformation and plastic deformation. When the forming finished during the plastic deformation process, there is the residual stress could make the sheet to maintain a certain shape, beside some deformation springback. The efficient spinning technology is just the sheet forming method based on this theory. Based on the further discussion on the plastic deformation theory, we make the calculate of the sheet forming force; introduce the geometry relation of all the parts and the fix of plastic deformed; make the research on the down distance of flexible roller.2. The efficient spinning equipment design based on the theoretical studyThis paper makes the adjusting equipment structure design of the efficient spinning with three rollers. We use the flexible roller as the main forming part, using adjusting equipment to control it. Use the friction from rollers rotation to make the sheet keep moving,then reach the target shape. The main point is the adjusting body and transmission design. The opening bearing is fixed by the pin in the adjusting body to improve the swing ability. This design is not only has a simple structure, but also could make the roller to be smooth curve. Beside these, it decrease the stress concentration and increase the carrying capacity. In the adjusting equipment ,we use screw drive style. This is a simple structure, having advantages such as easy to manufacture, Low-cost, easy to achieve self-locking, smooth operation, high precision adjustment, etc..3. Numerical simulation of strength checking of the dangerous parts in the design. In this paper, we use Finite element numerical simulation method to analysis several key parts of the equipment, include the opening bearing, the cantilever and the connecter. With these results, we could check and optimize these parts. From the result, we could see that the three part all meet the design requirements. The connecter could be optimize further more.4. Design the flexible roller and use the numerical simulation to analyze the forming processIn the efficient spinning equipment, we choose three straight flexible rollers as the forming parts. The flexible roller is compote of a series of closely ranged wires. As main forming parts, it suffers greater external force. This paper discusses the structure of the flexible roller, by theoretical calculation, design the roller used in the efficient spinning equipment. Use the theoretical formula check the strength and stiffness of the roller. Make the dynamic simulation of the roller's force process with the finite element analysis software and check the theoretical calculation results. The theoretical results and simulation results match each other, so the roller meets the design requirements.5. The research on the efficient spinning numerical simulationTaking spherical case for example, we compare the processes of two-rollers spinning, two-roller symmetrical spinning, three-roller spinning to improve that the more the roller number is, the better the surface of the forming sheet is. In the three-roller spinning, the rollers are the steadiest and there is no phenomenon of shock and pressure side. Beside that, we also study the influence of the control point number. From the results, we could see that the control point is the more, the better. Compare the result we conclude that ten point is the best suitable number for the equipment in use, for the forming surface smooth enough and saving much. Another problem we discussed is the influence of the thickness of the sheet. We found that as the thickness increases, the surface is more and more smooth; the wrinkling dismiss quickly. But the force between the rollers and sheet also increase quickly. The influence of the diameter to the forming process is also obviously. To release the diameter, could see the better surface of the sheet and for the same size, the curvature increases.
