Aiming at saving resources and prolonging their using life, this paper presents a plasma arc quenching method to achieve the heat dealing to the face of accessories. After being quenched, the hardness and anti-fray character of the accessory face can be enhanced so that the resilience of its inner part can be better kept.The paper introduces in detail the principle of plasma arc, the construction of plasma quenching system, the specific power supply to the plasma quenching, the hardware and software part in the plasma quenching current control circuit and the analyzes of quenching parameters to the whole system, mainly including:(1) It gets the quality requirements that best fit the plasma quenching of shifting plasma arc through analyzing the definition and structure of plasma arc. It also acquires the best match between quenching parameters by detailed analysis of some certain parameters of plasma quenching.(2) The main working procedure of the hardware in plasma quenching system. The equipment is mainly composed by the machine, nozzle, controlling cabinet and power supply. The controlling cabinet mainly consoles the opening and closing of the power supply, water and air.(3) The design of power supply control circuit and switching power supply circuit. The system adopts the integrated control switching power supply TL494 which is well and fully functioned as the main chip of feedback circuit to accomplish the feedback adaptation for the whole quenching current. Besides, the paper designs the current and voltage overloading protection for the power supply which will make the quenching process safer and more stable.(4) Hardware design for the system. It includes system control circuit, digital potentiometer voltage protection circuit, basic pulse-width modulation control circuit and touch pad technology. It also controls and adjusts the current of the plasma quenching equipment as well as samples the relative parameters. The whole system can run in a strong disturbing environment by designing the protection circuit.(5) Software design for the system. It includes the designs for the main program, initializing sub program, memory reading sub program, series interruption and process control sub program and five button control sub program of the control system. By calling the sub programs, the main program can perform the plasma quenching system functions.At last, based on the summary of the whole passage, the paper proposes and forecast the further studies.
