Metal Composite with high wear resistance, high corrosion resistance, and high fracture resistance, has wide application prospect in power plant equipments.By using of vaccum hot-pressing situ reaction synthesis methode, this paper reserches TiC/Ni Metal Composite and primarily discusses its microstructure and partial, performances. The experimental results show that hot pressing sintering temperature is the main fator which detemines microstructure uniformity and the TiC particle size, and adding Mo inhances its wettability and refines the grains;when TiC mass fraction increased to 47.8%from 23.8%,the material's density decreased to 93.67%from 95.54%,hardness increased to 719.6 from 414.1(HV),average wear rate decreased to 0.77×10-4g/r from 1.32×10-4g/r,the thermal expansion coefficient decreased from 12.32×10-6/℃to 10.03×10-6/℃;And Tension intensity, bending intensity and condense intensity will improve with increasing TiC,but it will decline when the content of TiC get to 47.8wt%for the material's defects; furthermore, under the same preparing condition, the sample's comprehansive performance produced by in-situ reaction prepareation is better than that by non- situ reaction preparation.
