The developing direction of the inverter power supply is high frequency, low voltage, large current. The inverter resistance welding has the characteristics of low voltage, large current, and now the inverter frequency of which is mainly in 1K-5KHZ. The paper developed the inverter frequency to 20KHZ at the 90KVA scale, which can give the commercialization of the inverter power supply certain experience. The emphasis of the paper is to develop a integrated transformer, whose structure is compressed referring to the structure of flat transformer. The transformer developed is working at the frequency of 20KHZ, with the iron core height of 33mm, width of 84mm, working sectional area of 332mm~2 , weight of 1.2kg. A compatible water-cooling system was also designed and tightly placed around the flat iron core and the primary coil. The secondary coils were fastened to an indirect water-cooling system which also conveying the secondary current. This kind of design increased the radiating effect, simplifid the fabrication process compared to the mid-frequency integrated transformer. The paper also contained the development of inverter of inverter spot welding power supply, with UC3856 as its central control chip, 300A IGBT as its switch valves. The whole system had worked stable, and output large current in need. The paper gave out an inverter spot welding power supply which gained the frequency of 20KHZ, output current of 12KA, small volume, which also could be a sample of commercialization.
