CO and NO let by cars are the most major pollutants in the atmosphere,NO+CO reaction is considered to be one of the most important reaction for pollution control. But most of employed DeNOX catalyst–noble metals catalyst are now facing the crisis of resource scarcity, therefore,in recent years, studies with transition metals have attracted much attention.Using SiO2 as the support,Cu as catalyst and Mg as promoter,a low cost and new material:Mg-Cu/SiO2 catalyst is prepared and tested in the catalytic removal reaction of NO and CO simultaneously. The effects of preparation method, the temperature of activation, modified method of Mg,Cu loading,Mg loading, calcined method and GHSV on the catalytic activity of Mg-Cu/SiO2 were investgated and some useful conclusions as follows:1.Different preparation method and the temperature of activation have great effect on the catalytic activities.Cu/SiO2 catalysts were prepared by different preparation method. Cu/SiO2 catalysts prepared by sol-gel method(3) and activied at 600℃is superior.2.Addition of Ca,Nd,Mg respectly as promoter greatly improved the activity of Cu/SiO2 catalysts in NO+CO reaction. In this paper,we founded that Mg is the best promoter in this reaction.3.Mg loading,Cu loading, modified method of Mg and calcination method have great effect on the catalytic activities. The results indicated that Mg-Cu/SiO2 catalyst showed the highest activity when Cu loading amount was 2%,Mg loading amount was 3%,program heating calcination temperature for 4h was 500℃for 4h and Mg was implanted by impregnation method.4.GHSV has no great effect on the catalytic activities. Mg-Cu/SiO2 catalysts in industry have good application.
