Electric adsorption technology is developed as a new type of water treatment method in recent years.Electrode material with excellent performance is a key of the study of electric adsorption desalting..The experiment select commercial goods activated carbon as raw material,using hydrochloric acid to advance the activated.Then study the best test conditions and electrode preparation technology.Finally focuses on the load carrying zirconia modified activated carbon electrode materials processing.Using the iodine adsorption value,scanning electron microscopy?sem?and specific surface area and pore size analyzer,infrared functional groups,energy spectrum analysis,thermogravimetric to characterize activated carbon adsorption and the physical and chemical properties of materials;Characterized by cyclic voltammetry?CV?analysis of activated carbon electrode electrochemical performance.The desalination experiment evaluation electric adsorption performance of activated carbon electrode.Respectively,the following conclusions are obtained:?1?The optimum parameters of the activated carbon in hydrochloric acid pretreatment were as follows:Concentration of hydrochloric acid was 5%,and the processing time was24h.The highest iodine adsorption value of activated carbon was the highest in this parameter.?2?The best preparation conditions ZrO2 modified activated carbon load as follows::calcination temperature 500?,oxygen zirconium chloride concentration is 1.5%,dipping time is 16 h;After activated carbon supported ZrO2,the specific surface area from1205.45m2/g drop to 1051.77m2/g,decreased by 12.75%.The weight percentage of the element of Zr loaded on activated carbon was 16.8%,which on the material surface is present in flocculent and granular structure;at the same time,the surface of the ZrO2/AC formed some Zr-O oxygen functional groups of bonds.The capacitance of the capacitor from 86.90F/g to 150.00F/g,the modified activated carbon electrode increased by72.6%,and the adsorption properties of the activated carbon loaded with ZrO2 were greatly improved.?3?The experiment show that when the active material quality is about 15 g,the scan rate in 5 mv/s,specific capacitance of the electrode measured value is the largest;The experimental determination of the the graphene as the conductive agent,the graphite piece as the collection fluid,and the mass fraction are:10:1:1,the modified activated carbon electrode performance is best.?4?In NaCl solution of Zr O2-AC electrode to desalination,its ion removal rate increased by 43.0%.
