Liao River Basin is one of the key water pollution control zones in China,which has developed quickly and contributed a lot to national economic development in the past years.However,due to faster industry development and poorer environmental potection,the water ecology and water environment in this area have been destroyed heavily.According to the national fiver study materials from National Environmental Protection Administration,Liao River Basin has been heavily polluted and the water quality in most of the city reach has beyond level five,and the water function is keeping deteriorating,even has been lost.This study uses the water quality data, biological data and economic data in history to analyze water ecological and water environmental factors' status of Liao River Basin by multivariate statistical methods and then illustrate the character of water ecological and water environmental factors in Liao River Basin and the possible influenent factor.1.The temporal and spatial character of Liao River Basin is divided into three groups by cluster analysis,respectively and the key temporal and spatial water quality index are discriminated by discriminant analysis;Five latent pollution sources are identified by principal component analysis,including oxygen consuming organic pollution, toxic organic pollution,heavy metal pollution,fecal pollution and oil pollution.,and different pollution characters in different time and sites are also identified.2.The key environmental factors that affect spatial distributions of macroinvertebrate communities is NH4+-N,vegetation covering and suspended matter in the study period, which are identified by spearman's rank correlation and cumulative frequency distribution analysis.And then canonical correspondence analysis is used to analyze the relationship between species abundant and three key environmental factors,and the sampling sites are divided into three groups:heavy pollution sites,moderate pollution sites and pure water sites.3.By timed sequence principal component analysis,the water ecological environment of Liao River Basin keeps deteriorating,and by environmental kuznets curve analysis, the factor that affects the water ecology and water environment is industry structure, average GDP and urbanization level...
