With the constant improvement of machining technology, requirements to the dynamic performance are becoming higher and higher in various fields. Furthermore, the dynamic characteristics of joints play an important role for the dynamic analysis in the entire mechanical system, and directly determine the fitness between the results of dynamic analysis and the actual situation. Therefore, dynamic modeling of joints and parameter identification become the hot spot in the research of mechanical engineering.Depending on the research progress in the world, and according to the characteristics of joints, the author devotes to studying the dynamic characteristics of bolted joints. And base on the finite element theory, a new finite element model of joints is built. This model gives a better solution to the unlinear problems and has a good accuracy on reflecting the dynamic characteristic of joints. Base on this model, the author puts forward the according parameter identification method and verifies it by experiments.Analyzing the errors of the experimental testing system used to determine the dynamic parameters. And using finite element method and experimental modal analysis technique, the author has validated the finite element model of joints. First of all, analyze the bolted joints using finite element analysis and experimental modal analysis. Secondly, compare the finite element analysis results between the model of joint interface elements and the spring-damper model base on the results of experimental modal analysis. At last, this model can be proved to be available and predominant by the method of comparing similar modal shape's frequency.Finally, relying on the finite element model of joints, and analyzing the dynamic characteristics of joints under the condition of different pressure and surface roughness, the author studies the factors which affect the dynamic parameters of joints, and obtains the law and dynamic characteristics of joints...
