Extract Process And Quality Standard Of Platycodon Grandiflorum Extract

Quality standards research of Chinese traditional medicines and its extract is still a weak link at present.The value of platycodon and its extract has been widely recognized,but its quality control has not improved enough.In order to better utilizing and developing the resource,standardization the market,perfection the basic research,this paper carries out a systematic study on platycodon grandiflorum extract process and quality standards.1.This paper carries out that the main effective component in paltycodon extraction is platycodin D through investigating large quantity of datum about the pharmacology and clinical example of platycodon and its extraction.2.The identification and determination methods of platycodin D in platycodonextract has been established.by separately using Thin-layer chromatography(TLC) and HPLC-ELSD.3.The extract percentage of platycodin D was regarded as the target of the experiments.On the basis of the single factor tests,such as extract times,solvents concentration,solvents consumption,extract time and extract temperature, orthogonal experiment was designed to analyze the affluence factors.Results:the ethanol concentration is 70%,solvent consumption is 8 times of the raw material. In 60℃,the platycodon is extracted 3 times and each extraction lasts 2 hours.The extract percentage is more than 94.%.4.As far as the quality and feasibility of manufactory was concerned.The content of water,ash,heavy metal,anthocyanins and rutin was considered as target to regulate the quality of platycodon extraction.
