Yan Re Qing capsule consists of Radix Scutellariae , menthol and the extract of Yan Re Qing .It has a good effect of Jiebiao Qingli and Qingre Jiedu.It is now recorded in standard of Health Ministry,for treating the inflammation of respiratory passage ,brochus and pneumonia ,also for treating the inflammation of Urinary system and biliary tract. The extract of Yan Re Qing consists of Scrophulariaceae, Gentianaceae, Gypsum Fibrosuum, Radix Bupleuri, Gardenia jasminoides Ellis, Rhizoma Anemarrhenae, Radix Scutellariae.Now our country demand that the extraction methods of complex preparation also should be optimized and the quality of it should be controlled. Modern science and technology was applied into the optimizition of the cooking method and the syetemic study of quality standard according to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine. So it provide the basis for quality control of the extract and preparation.1.The study of extraction methodIn the point of extraction method,we used the content of baicalin and geniposide and extracting ratio as evaluating indexes and investigated the test.The optimum of extracting condition was :soaking the seven herbs with water for 1 hour and boiling 1 hour for 3 times ,the amount of water used was 1.5,10 times of the drug mixture respectively.2. The study of quality standardThe experimental results have shown that the TLC spots of Radix Scutellariae, Gardenia jasminoides Ellis, Gentianaceae, Rhizoma Anemarrhenae were very clear in the prepartion.and had repeatability.We established the content determination method of the extract of Yan Re Qing.Establish a HPLC mothod for determination of the content of Baicalin and Geniposide. The chromatographic condition was Diamonsil ODS C₁₈ column ,the flow rate was 1.0ml/min. The detecting wavelength was respectively at 315nm and 280nm,the mobile phase was respectively methanol- phosphoric acid solution (44:56) and methanol-acetate acid (24:76) ,the column temperature was respectively 30℃ and 25℃.The result showed that the standard Baicalin had a good linear correlation within the concentration of 0.29～2.9μg ( r =0.9993 ) .The average recovery was 95.80%, RSD=1.79 % .The content Baicalin is not lower than 3.93 mg/g. The other result showed that the standard geniposide had a good linear correlation within the concentration of 0.452～2.260mg (r=0.9999) .The average recovery was 98.90 % ,RSD=0.74 % .The content of Geniposide is not lower than 7.42mg/g.The methed is simple and repeatable,it can be used for quality control of the extract of Yan Re Qing.The stabilities,sensitives,recoveries accord to the demands of qualitative analyses.These methods can be used as quality content methods.
