Search Inhibitor Of 5α-reductase In Brassica Napus L. Pollen

Qian lie kang,a kind of traditional Chinese medicine,used in BPH treatment,the primary element is Brassica napus L.Pollen.After long time using,it has been proved with distinctive effect,but the treatment principle of Qian lie kang has not disclosed throughly.In the specification of Qian lie kang tablet,it disclaimed some compound has the effect of inhibiting 5α-reductase.But the disclaim has not been mentioned in any formal scholar journals.In this thesis,I compare with several methods which were used to assay the enzyme inhibiting activity,such as HPLC,UV.I found they are all have defects.So I issue a ideal to develope a new gas chromatograph method,it could measured the concentration of testostrone and dihydrotestostrone in same time.The method was reliable and accurate.The method was the foundation to screen bio-active compound from Brassica napus L.Pollen C16H3608,the unique raw material of Qian lie kang.I found some bio-active compound in the alchol phase of Brassica napus L.Pollen.extraction.After purification by silica gel chromatograph,I get a kind of pure compound,light yellow oily substance.Elucidated by GC-MS,NMR, the substance ispoly ether.It's MW =456,formula is C₂₈H₅₆O₄。In experiment,I found many trece elements in extraction of Brassica napus L.Pollen.which all have the fuction of inhibiting 5α-reductase.But limitied by timeand money,I can't identify every functional element,but I have make a foundation for further research.
