A mathematical model is built about the fractional collection efficiency of PM2.5 based on the widely used ESP at present.The fractional collection efficiency of PM2.5 is estimated according to the design and operation parameters as well as the entrance parameters,and then the dust emission parameters of PM2.5 are predicted. Various operating parameters that influence the fractional collection efficiency are analyzed and adjusted to minimize the emissions concentration of PM2.5.The model can show clearly how the fractional collection efficiency is determined by the operation parameters,such as the gas flow quantity,the dust resistivity and the other dust characters,the shape of ESP and dust sizes etc.The model can be used not only to predict desired outlet parameters from inlet parameters but also to get the optimum design by changing the effects of design and operation parameters.
