Accuracy is the key important element in the course of dynamic testing. When the measuring instrument developed under laboratory environment tests the field work, the test precision will decline, or even can not work normally. In order to improve the testing accuracy, the measuring instrument should be calibrated according to the measuring environment. After introducing the single P-T measuring instrument, the paper then introduces the application of the pressure pulse generator (drop hammer) for calibrating the sensitivity of the oil-well measuring instrument, and analyses the feasibility and accuracy of the calibration system. Based on this research, we propose the method to improve the accuracy of the calibration system, and process the calibration result using mathematics software. The actual measured data verifies that the calibration result is accurate. In order to improve the accuracy of the measuring instrument, we use simulated oil-well equipment to simulate the oil-well field work environment, and then calibrate the measuring instrument based on the simulated environment. This paper also introduces the development status of the dynamic pressure calibration and the major calibration device. For the questions appeared in the course of the experiment, this paper analyses them from the fluid mechanics point, and proposes the corresponding improvement program. In addition, the questions faced in current work and advanced research direction are pointed out in this paper.
