In recent years,the transient electromagnetic logging as a new technology has received more and more attention from the researchers.This new technology can realize the detection of reservoir after casing and casing damage detection.It aims at providing important basis for looking for remaining oil reservoir,proving underground storage layer and detecting the casing damage status.Aiming at the problems which include instrument temperature drift,interpretation of measurement curve and depth data error when we use the electromagnetic logging instrument for oil and water well to test at oilfield site,we make a depth research.Starting with the probe of the instrument,we study the influence of temperature on the instrument probe and instrument measurement curve.For improving the instrument testing performance we try to make the temperature correction from hardware and software.On this basis,we collect a lot of data according to scale testing experiment in the relatively ideal conditions in laboratory.These data is the typical measurement results at the ideal environment.It can be used as an important reference for measuring the results when using the instrument,so as to analyze and explain the new measurement data in the future.Otherwise,in this paper we also study the depth measurement system of the instrument,at the same time we improve the measurement accuracy of the depth data.These works can make the measurement error reducing about 30%~40%.Finally,the paper puts forward a kind of depth correction method of transient electromagnetic logging instrument,which combines casing collar location with gamma school deep together.The measured data shows that this method can effectively reduce the complexity of the traditional depth correction,and it is of great significance for the promotion of transient electromagnetic logging instruments.
