Al2O3 ceramic have high quality of enduerance of high temperature,good grindness and high quality of anti-corrupt.But the lower toughness make the application of Al2O3 ceramic restricted.So that Al2O3 ceramic how to gain high toughness became the popular problem.The goal of this study is to make ZrSiO4 that analyzed to ZrO2 particle that can make Al2O3 to have high quality of toughness.This discourse show the development of Al2O3 ceramic and the experiment of how to gain high quality of toughness.The study open out the abrasion mechanism and affected factors of ceramic material,and the development of molding and sintering technique.The study of prepared ZrO2-SiO2-Al2O3 compound ceramic was come from the theory of Al2O3- ZrSiO4 sintering and reacting in high temperature.Preparing the sample in different proportion and different dosage to be sintered and tested.It researched the growth program of mullite,the perfect composition of zirconium & corundum and the sintering dosage's working mechanism.Discuss the compositon of the sample,mocrostructure,gas hole status,density and good grindness.This will be to build the base of antual produce.X-ray diiraction was used in the qualitative phase analysis.Scanning electron microscope(SEM) was used to observe the surface topography,fracture surface topography and abrasive surface.Micromieter was used to measure the constriction dimension of sintered sample.Archimedes drainage method was used to measure the sample's density.Sclerometer was used to measure the sample's rigidity.The wearable quality was measured from the abrasion examination.Preparation of serosity stuff is very complexity and important.As a result of examination show that would be have best grain and adhibit quality when pH of serosity is 8.0 and the time of ball abrasion is 30h.Finding were as follows,ZrSiO4 was decompound to ZrO2 and SiO2.The SiO2 together with Al2O3 were then entered into the precipitation reaction of mullite which commenced at 1450℃~1600℃.Correct proportion of ceramic particle will have good rigidity and best abrading quality.As the result of experiment that sintering sample's rigidity was HRA 88 and abrasion quality was 0.14%when the quantity of Al2O3 should be 90%.When the sinter temperature was 1600℃and the keep time was 4h,the material of ZrSiO4/Al2O3 have best anti-abrasion quality that was 0.14%,density that was 4.02g/cm3 and crush intensity that was 2180N.The experiment validate that adding into sample the sinter reagent MgO will depress the temperature effectivcely and then can control the crystal particle's growing effectively.This will obtain the fine crystal particle of ceramic to improve anti-abrasion quality.The result of experiment show the quantity of MgO should be 0.4(wt)%.
