This paper by 3 mol% Y2O3-ZrO2 granulation powder as raw material, using dry pressing and cold isostatic pressing process preparation of strip sample, and made under atmospheric pressure sintering 3Y-TZP ceramics. For sintering of ceramics samples were determined after the line shrinkage, bulk density, porosity, bending strength and Vickers hardness, etc., and then using XRD analysis on the surface and cross section of the ceramic samples’ crystal types, using the SEM observation of the microstructure, using the line intercept method for determining the size of grain size, to explore pressing and sintering temperature system on the influence of structure and performance of 3Y-TZP ceramics. In addition, the influence of T1 and T2 on the structure and performance of 3Y-TZP ceramics in the two-step sintering was studied in this topic, and the Weibull distribution statistics was prepared to assess the reliability of ceramic samples under different sintering curve using.The results show that, under the same sintering temperature, dry pressure 75 MPa combination again after 150 MPa cold isostatic pressing sample has high relative density, low porosity and shrinkage rate. When 3Y-TZP ceramics have not reached the densification, under the same sintering temperature, molding pressure has no effect on grain size almost. Under the condition of room temperature, 3Y-TZP ceramics grain size of phase change of Zr O2 d 0.161μm < d < 0.585μm.At a rate of 5 ℃/min before 1000 ℃, and between 1000 ℃~1300 ℃ at a rate of 0.5 ℃/min, between 1300 ℃~1480 ℃ in the heating rate of 6 ℃/min, and then holding time for 90 min at the 1480 ℃,under the system of the sintering temperature of 3Y-TZP ceramics sample volume density of 5.98 g/cm3, flexural strength up to 704.65 MPa, the grain size of sample is 0.528 μm, uniform size, Weibull modulus m is 7.56. 3Y-TZP ceramics performance improved and improve the reliability of its use, compared with rising at a rate of about 2 ℃/min to 1480 ℃ and holding 180 min of samples.When T1=1450 ℃, T2=1400 ℃ in the two-step sintering, 3Y-TZP ceramic performance is best. At this point, bulk density of the ceramic is 6.04 g/cm3, the flexural strength is 913.33 MPa, Vickers hardness is 13548 MPa, the grain size of sample is 0.464 μm, Weibull modulus m is 9.31, having the higher using reliability.
