The internal flow field of two mixed-flow slurry-circling pumps in wet gas desulfurizing system in two power plants of 300MW and 600MW,which were taken as examples,were simulated by CFD software Fluent 6.2 at the base of quantitative and qualitative comparison of simulation results and practical operation for the certainty of reasonableness of simulation model.On this basis,the performance of desulfurizing slurry-circling pump was researched on,which includes the influence of hydraulic designment of volute and balde,the medium characteristic and operation condition on the performance of pumps,and then the transformation proposal based on single-phase pump was proposed for the transportation of solid-liquid two-phase medium.The purpose of this research is to perfect the theory of desulfurizing slurry-circling pump and to provide several reliable suggestions for reference on the practical transformaton and operation of desulfurizing slurry-circling pump.
