| Magnetorheological Elastormers are a new kind of Magnetorheological materials.It has been pay more and more attaion of the academic field and industry field because of its advantages that the particals are not able to settle with time and there is no need to use the container to keep the MR material in its place.But conventional MREs are limited to wide applications,as their MR effects and mechanical performances are not high enough.In this paper,mainly to improve the practicality of the magnetorheological elastomers,the micro-iron particles are mixed in the flexible epoxy resin and unsaturated polyester resin(UPR) which were chose as the matrixes because of their good mechanical properties.Two types of resin matrix add with micron carbonyl iron powder,get the resin-based composite materials after curing.Test the changes of the storage modulus before and after the external magnetic field work.Obtained the best allocational-proportional plan for the mixture after compare the generated magnetic modulus of the materials with different iron content.And by changing the ambient temperature,select a number of test frequencies,and do the surface treatment of carbonyl iron powder with the coupling agent KH550,and so on.Analysis the factors that effect the mechanical properties under external magnetic field of the materials,such as the temperature,test frequency,as well as the coupling agent,and so on.The results showed that:the epoxy resin by toughening and the unsaturated polyester resin(UPR)can be used as the magnetorheological elastomers matrix for the good flexibility;iron content on the magnetorheological elastomers significantly impact the performance of the system under the external magnetic field,with an increase in the amount of iron,magnetorheological effect increased,and when the micron carbonyl iron powder mass ratio of 300%,the system performance the most obvious magnetorheological effect,at 25℃,the value of storage modulus of the system increase reached 3.12GPa,while the relative effect of magnetorheological value of 104.46%;in the temperature range 0℃~80℃,with the temperature rise, the corresponding increase in the relative magnetorheological effect;at different test frequencies,the unsaturated polyester resin(UPR)-based system performance that,as the higher frequency,the greater of the magnetic modulus;do the surface treatment of carbonyl iron powder with the coupling agent KH550,adding the matrix of epoxy resin,curing,comparing with the system without coupling agent,it showed that better magnetorheological effect on KH550 coupling agent system,for the surface treatment of iron can increase the resin-based composite material systems' magnetorheological effect. |
