Elemental tellurium nanoparticles(Nano-Te0),is a narrow band gap semiconductor that displays interesting physical properties,including nonlinear optical responses,photoconductivity, and thermoelec-tric properties.The properties make it useful as an infrared photoconductive detector,piezoelectronic devices,and thermo-electronic material.Recently,the research about Nano Te0 draw extensive attention in many fields.This article uses antiscorbutic acid(Vc) as reduction agent to synthesis Nano-Te0,which modified by sucrose,glucose and other amino acids,to prepare a series of Nano-Te0 sols.Micro-imaging technique were used to study the stability of Nano-Te0 sols.The main content were included as follows:1.The preparation of Nano-Te0 sols.The results indicated that Te(Ⅳ) was reduced Te0 under heat condition,in the presence of sucrose,a stable Nano-Te0 sols were obtained.The effect of heat were included by two terms:1. promoted Te(Ⅳ) reduced to Nano-Te0,2.modulated the Nano-Te0 sols.The optimize experiment condition was 6 h 60℃.Sucrose could modulat Nano-Te0,and kept the Nano-Te0 sol stable.The stability of the Nano-Te0 sol were promoted,The the Nano-Te0 sol was steady in 20 days under 4℃.2.The Comparison between the modulation effect of sucrose and glucose.When the concentration of Nano-Te0 below 10μmol.L-1,the modulation of sucrose and glucose were obvious.When the concentration of sucrose and glucose were the same,the modulation effect of sucrose was better than that of glucose.The mechanisms of modulation were also discussed.The difference of sucrose and glucose in the modulation effect occurred due to the molecular structure,which also leaded to the different morphology of Nano-Te0.The morphology of Nano-Te0-Surcose particles were leafy with the diameter of 300-600 nm,the diameter of cross section 400-800 nm.The morphology of Nano-Te0-glucose changed from leafy to rod with the diameter of 300-700 nm,the diameter of cross section 400-800 nm.3.The Comparison between the modulation effect of different concentration of amino acids.The results showed that the modulation effect of different amino acids were different,the order were Ala>Gly>Met,and had concentration effect in certain range.The modulation effect increased as the concentration increased.The morphology of Nano-Te0 were different under the different kinds and concentration of amino acids.The morphology of Nano-Te0-Ala changed in the sequence as needle -leafy -irregular morphology.The morphology of Nano-Te0-Gly were rod-like,and the modulation effect increased with the concentration of Gly.The morphology of Nano-Te0-Met were leafy under small concentration,burr-like under large concentration.The morphology of Nano-Te0-Cys were leafy,the range of diameter were larger than other amino acids.
