Electrospinning as a new technique can produce nanofiber in a constant way,was gradually paid attention by people of all lines.It has been applied into many fields such as biological organ and tissue, industrial filtration cloth,medical area and so on.But there are still few papers on the transport properties,especially thermal and moisture properties.Therefore,there are limitations on clothes applications.It was the first time to have a detailed study on the air content(the volume of air/the volume of fabric) of the electrospun nanofiber nonwoven fabric.It was found that nanofiber had high air content.Then this paper analyzes the factors influenced air content,fiber radius is found to be the main factor to air content by the building and derivation of the model.By experimental verification,the process parameters such as voltage,polymer concentration and distance influence fiber diameter during electrospinning all have impact on the air content.And it was observed that polymer concentration and voltage had significant impact to air content,but distance is not by experiment verification.The experiment is in accordance with the theory excellently.Finally,the reasonable parameters were gotten to produce electrospun nanofiber with highest air content.It was expected to get nanofiber with different air content and was applied into different fields by varying the process parameter.It was the first time to study the thermal properties of the electrospun nanofiber.The distribution of thermal resistant was gotten by divided the nanofiber into groups basing on the thickness,same thickness or similar thickness as a group.Then the relationship between the thickness and thermal resistant was described qualitatively,and the thermal conductivity of nanofiber was derived by experiment fitting, characterizing quantificationally the thermal properties of nanofiber. Furthermore,the difference between the nanofiber nonwoven fabric and other nonwovens on thermal transport property was discussed,proving the good keep-warmth properties of nanofiber.It was the first time to study the moisture transport property of nanofiber.The three factors which influenced the permeation properties most:materials,thickness and fiber content were further studied, especially the influence of fiber volume on moisture resistant.According to Feike Law,it was derived the relation between moisture resistant and moisture permeation property.Then the relationship between fiber content and moisture resistant was described in detail by experiment verification.Finally,the moisture property was compared between nanofiber and other nonwoven fabric,finding the good moisture of nanofiber nonwoven fabric.
