Moisture content is a percentage of the moisture content of a substance and is an important technical indicator of the degree of dryness of a fabric.The moisture content in the fabric will affect the processing efficiency of the fabric and the quality of the product.If the water content can be accurately detected,it can not only save printing and dyeing slurry,improve the recycling rate of water resources,but also reduce the use of hot steam.Reduce energy consumption and reduce costs.Due to the wide variety of fabrics and complex components,it is difficult to quickly detect the moisture content of fabrics of different components.At present,the moisture content of fabrics of different types and different components is based on calibration method,and there is no universal applicability.In the national “13th Five-Year Plan”,the textile industry is still the focus of manufacturing development,and the demand for high-precision and automated textile equipment is growing.Therefore,designing a textile printing and dyeing parameter measuring device with independent intellectual property rights is of great significance for improving the automation process of textile equipment.This paper takes fabric as the research object,combined with the research status at home and abroad,designed a set of non-contact fabric moisture content measurement system,and proposed the measurement method of moisture content of fabrics of different types and different components.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the characteristics of microwave attenuation in the medium,the relationship between microwave attenuation and dielectric constant is derived,which provides a theoretical basis for microwave transmittance measurement of fabric moisture content.Several dielectric constant mixing models were compared and analyzed from the perspective of the dielectric constant model of the mixture.According to the structural characteristics of the water-containing fabric,the theoretical mathematical model of the dielectric constant and water content of the fabric is derived.Finally,the mathematical model of microwave attenuation and water content is established by the dielectric constant.(2)A fabric dielectric constant measurement experiment was designed.The dielectric constant measurement experiments were carried out on fabrics from single component to two components,from different thicknesses and different areal densities.In this paper,three kinds of fabrics of pure cotton,polyester and polyester/cotton were selected as experimental objects.The experimentally analyzed curve is compared with the theoretical model.It is found that the volume mixing model is in good agreement with the experimental measurements,and the feasibility of the model is verified.The general formula of the dielectric constant model of pure cotton fabric is derived by measuring the dielectric constant of pure cotton and polyester fabrics.The fabric composition and weight are measured by measuring the dielectric constant of different proportions of polyester/cotton blend fabric.The multivariate variables were fitted with the model coefficients K1 and K2,and the general formula of the dielectric constant model of different components of polyester/cotton was derived.(3)The entire measurement system is built from both hardware and software aspects.The hardware mainly includes microwave signal source,isolator,attenuator,horn antenna,detector and filter circuit.The software part mainly includes data collection,conversion,storage and display.This article uses software programming based on ARM chip,and combined with the host computer.(4)Through the microwave transmission method fabric moisture content measurement system designed in this paper,the moisture measurement of different types and different components of pure cotton and polyester cotton was carried out,and compared with the drying method,the measurement method proposed in this paper was confirmed for the fabric.Reliability of moisture content measurement.
