Analysis Of Coal Mine Accident By Local Government And Miners

In recent years, coal mine production security faces a serious situation in China and major coal accidents happen frequently. Aiming at this phenomenon, the Chinese government has taken many measures to cope with this problem. To some extent, it indeed worked .However, on this background; the social problem of coal mine accident cover-up is increasingly serious. And it brings serious disturbance to the social order which harms to the nation and people severely.Through analyzing the mine tragedy cases and other material, in the first place, the dissertation concludes the environment and general features of the cover-up and summarizes the decision space and the interest function for the participants, together with their interest relationship. Then with the game analysis of the local person in charge after the accidents, three influencing factors have been found. They are exorbitant profits in the coal mine industry, the expected failure probability of the cover-up and the punishment afterwards. Based on the above, combining the practical situation in China, we make a deep research on the cause and ways of the cover-up for the local person in charge after the coal mine accident. Finally, according to the analysis results, we put forward some suggestions on adjusting the access threshold of the current coal mine industry, widening information transmission channels for the incidents and perfecting laws. Through these suggestions, we expect to change the payoff function of the participants and then achieve that the participants can report the true information after the incidents.
