Nuclear high-pressure vessel is core part of atomic pile, there are many critical processes related to weld, root of weld, rib of weld and bevel in the process of manufacture. So it is important to design the corresponding grinding machine for weld joint. As the special material and huge volume, the grinding machine not only has a better rigidity, but also has good dynamic response and strong power. It is significant for new grinding machine structural dynamic performance, operation stability, decrease of development circle and cost down to make abrasive belt grinding machine key parts for optimum design with mathematic modal, establish key components and whole machine finite element modal, verify and analyze the key components and whole machine structure.This paper aims at structure optimization, make the statics and dynamics analysis for numerical control abrasive belt grinding machine from key components,whole machine, dynamics test. First based on the former structure, according to designer command, make the correlative key components force calculation. With the results and restriction of grinding machine, use mechanical optimization mathematics modal to analyze statics.Finally makes the key components and whole machine modal analysis with finite elements method, solve corresponding first six modal shape and frequency, judge the main weak structure, get the finial conclusion.The paper's emphasis is that, according to the mathematics modal, uses Ansys optimization module to do the optimum design with random search method. It breaks the traditional design-improving method.In this paper, not only involves the use of finite element method for dynamic analysis of the grinding machine, but also the use of experimental modal testing methodology of the natural frequency of machine, and then compares with the calculated frequency, basically the same results, which verify the correctness of finite element model.Based on the heavy vessel grinding machine, the paper has a research to the types of equipment, and provides reference and ideas for other large-scale industrial grinding equipment.
