As a high quality and efficiency flexible grinding tool,diamond abrasive belt can be used to grind and polish brittle materials such as ceramics,glass,mono-crystalline silicon,etc.It is widely used in mechanical,aerospace,medical,automobile,metallurgy and other industrial fields.However,due to the high cost of diamond grain and the fact that the abrasive belt is a "one-off" abrasive tool,it's expensive to use.In this paper,the ordered arrangement technology of abrasive group is used to redesign the surface of abrasive belts,so as to prolong the life of abrasive belts,improve the grinding efficiency and the grinding quality.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The effective grinding area ratio is defined,the arrangement mode and surface characterization parameters of abrasive groups are designed.LS-DYNA is used to simulate the cutting of silicon carbide work-pieces with different abrasive particle size.the signal-to-noise ratio is used to analyze the influence degree of abrasive particle size,unit area and effective grinding area ratio on the surface roughness,material removal rate and abrasive belt wear rate and the optimal level of each characterization parameter could be obtained.(2)Through the single factor test,the grinding quality and efficiency under various grinding process parameters are analyzed and compared with the abrasive belts with ordering abrasive groups and without ordering abrasive groups.The orthogonal test results of process parameters are optimized by the grey correlation analysis method to obtain the best combination of grinding process parameters.On this basis,the influence of the abrasive belts with different coating patterns on grinding quality and grinding efficiency under different cumulative stroke are explored.(3)This paper analyzes the wear principle and wear mode of the abrasive belt with ordering abrasive groups.The influences of the wear factors such as binder,grinding fluid,grinding speed,grinding depth,work-piece speed and belt tension on the wear ratio and wear rate of the abrasive belt with ordering abrasive groups are analyzed through the single factor test.Finally,through multiple linear regression analysis,the abrasion ratio on the surface characterizes of the abrasive belt with ordering abrasive groups is predicted under the condition of the optimal process parameters.
