By the restrictions of the complexity of the hydrogeological conditions and the applicability of calculation methods, predicting the mine inflow of water has been difficult at home and abroad. In small and medium-sized mines, but also by the hydro-geological exploration in the mining area factors, predicting the mine inflow of water become more difficult. This paper take Longtangyan iron ore ,which is a medium, porphyrite deposit ,and its hydrogeological conditions is complex ,as an example, using numerical simulation methods, predicting the mine inflow of water under the different exploitation programs.Longtangyan iron ore is located in the southwest of Jinlong anticline. Surface mining is covered by 50 to 60 thick Quaternary alluvial deposits. Underlying strata are Neogene Sediments (semi-consolidated sand and gravel), Huangmaqing Group in the Triassic (mudstone, muddy siltstone), Xujiashan group in the Triassic (silty mudstone, dolomite, dolomitic limestone). Ore body is distributed along the contact zone between Limestone and Magmatic rocks lines Xujiashan Group in the Triassic Formation Commission Alex limestone contact zone and the distribution of magmatic rocks, buried in the depth of 200 ~ 600m. Direct water-filled water is carbonate fracture-karst water in Xujiashan Group, while the indirect water-filled water is fissure water in pelitic siltstone in Huangmaqing Group, and the pore pressure water at the bottom of Cenozoic. By the course of the actual process of pumping water, Mine Water, which is considered as the form of free seepage of permeation flowing into the pit volume, field, there is no direct water contact between pit pumping and groundwater flow.The numerical simulation model which adapt to hydrogeology conceptual model is set up by Visual MODFLOW software. The model is identified and tested by the multi-group, porous pumping test data during the hydro-geological investigation. The mine inflow of water is predicted with mining program.
