According to the agglomerate sintering model of Ca-based sorbents, we deduced the sintering kenetics equation of the agglomerate particles. In these equations, we comprehensively take the mechanisim of volume diffusion and surface diffusion into consideration, then the feasibility of the agglomerate sintering model were verified by using the computer simulation. Moreover, based on this model, the tempreture effect on porosity during the sintering process was simulated by mathmatical method and verifed by experimental method using the using the WTC-2 thermal balance . moreover, based on the fractal theory, the usage of fractal analyzing method in porous sorbents was researched in this paper. Pore boundary fractal dimension of the Ca-based sorbents in vary tempreture conditions were measured firstly by using the Scan Electron Microscope and the improved box-counting method, the relation between the boundary fractal dimension and tempreture was derived. Moreover, the factors that affect the sorbent fractal dimension, such as additive amount and temperature, were studied by using the mercury intrusion method. The results showed the model present in this thesis is well and have an important theory reference meanings on the desulfurizion and sintering mechanics of sorbents.
