Dispersion and accumulation of nanometer titanium dioxide particles were investigated in this paper. The nanometer dust stress situation and the workshop environment parameters were also analyzed in order to choose the best physical model and solution method. Based upon the measuring data, the physical model of the production workshop was established. Correspondingly, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software such as GAMBIT, FLUENT, TECPLOT were employed to complete the grid division, solution, and the post-processing of results. The dispersion of nanometer titanium dioxide particles under different ventilation situation was investigated. The results show that ventilation is effective resolution for particle removal, but there still had wide range pollution area downwind the emissions source. By utilizing the Wide-Range Particle Spectrometer (WPS), the contrast between the simulation results and the measuring data was performed. It is shown that the model results and the sampling value agreed well with each other. The magnitude of dust density had the similar tendency with the proliferation dispersion.
