Based on the practical problems that exist during the use of compound turntable with five-axis machine tool, this dissertation firstly proposed and designed the balance mechanism to balance the turntable's overturning moment. The mechanism is characterized by its simple and reliable performance, self-adaptive control, and strong commonality and so on. By the way of theory and simulated analysis, it is proved that the mechanism can work effectively in balancing overturning moment. The main content goes as follows:1. Aiming at negative impact of turntable's overturning moment, the dissertation firstly proposed and designed the balance mechanism which can be utilized in most of the shaft systems in which there are overturning moment;2. With motion principle analysis and kinematics analysis to the balance mechanism, the dissertation got its characteristics of motion;3. Designed embodiments of balance mechanism in five-axis machine tool. Based on researching a large number of structures and functions of slide valves, the dissertation designed a constant pressure slide valve which can be used to maintain the pressure in the cylinder. The constant pressure valve is applicable in most occasions which need to control the pressure in seal cavity.4. It established the mathematical model of control system of constant pressure valve. By means of mathematical model, the valve core of constant pressure valve was made force analysis, displacement analysis and flow analysis of constant pressure valve. Besides, the continuity equation of mass flow between cylinder and constant pressure valve is established, which has laid a foundation for the further research of constant pressure valve control system.5. The dissertation established three-dimensional model for balance mechanism. Apart from that, it carried out movement simulation to the mechanism subject by use of the virtual simulation software ADAMS.The dissertation will provide project examples and relevant basis for the development of balance mechanism of compound turntable with five-axis machine tool.
