Mine underground pressure is one of the major disaster obssessing normal deep production at the mines. Due to its intricate developing mechanism, it has several extent between mine ground pressure science and engineering application. As a result, it is necessary to further discuss mine ground pressure's formation mechanism and control technology. This topic is put forward to solving the underground pressure problems of -430m level junction belt in Chengchao Iron Mine. According to underground pressure problem and hard extraction of sublevel caving method, primary work done is set forth as follows:Firstly, according to the results of systematical engineering geological survey, Q system which is well applicable to the conditions of high stress field and RMR method are applied to rock engineering classification. Research object is -430m level specimens. When the west aera combin with east aera at -430 level, the stress concentration state will appear in junction belt. To avoid stress concentration, three extraction scheme were simulated by FLAC5.0. the results show that, mine is extract from centre to both sides at the same time can effectively avoid the stress concentration and pressure. Some underground pressure control methods are proposed, such as, extraction scheme, supporting scheme. It is innovative in modeling, simulation, post-processing for complex deposits and underground pressure control technology, Research Methods and achievements have guiding role and reference value for similar mine.
