The horizon thickness of the orebody in Xiadian gold mine ranges from 8-15m, dip angle is around 45° . Production program is apt influenced by lithostatic stress because the ore and enclosing rock in XiaDian gold mine is crushing and non-homogeneous. Number 2 drift in -378m level and dog hole in -385m level are destructed badly due to lithostatic.It adopt dry filling method in the orebody above -350m level and adopt the method of sublevel caving in the orebody under the level. Exploitation engineering already reach -385m level.As the transition from dry filling method to sublevel caving,the engineering in -350m level burdens the role of drawing. The lithostatic stress around the gob arouse crack,disturb and caving-in at the location of dry filling method drawhole. Lithostatic stress already became menace of drawing.It can simulate and predicte lithostatic stress movement in some degree by FLAC3D software. It may estimate the harm of lithostatic stress movement in XiaDian gold mine and take suitable measure to reduce the damage by lithostatic stress. We can get the conclusion as follows:(1) Lithostatic stress will not cause large-scale collapse before the finish of dry filling method,however,it maybe cause crack, disturb and caving-in on the roof of drift;(2) Gob of sublevel caving will not cause ground surface downgoing.Gob need not take measure to deal with and it is allowed free- collapse.(3) The state in the drift that take alternate drawing method is bad. It is the best mode that apply bilateral stepped construction mining metod. It may adopt stepped construction mining metod if the eauipment can not accord the requirement.
