The lattice Boltzmann method of setting up in the microscopic model is developed in recent years, and it is a new numerical method of simulating fluid flow. Compared with traditionally method, Lattice Boltzmann method posses many advantage, such as: easy calculation, born parallel property, be able to deal with complex boundary and so on, attracted a lot of scientist from various fields and countries to study it further. This method is a challenge to traditional numerical method and gives a flash to people thought. Maybe it can show a new way to solve some of the problems blocked in the traditional numerical simulation. This text systematically introduce the origination, development and current situation of lattice Boltzmann method, the theoretical knowledge is described and mathematical representation of the standard lattice Boltzmann method and relationship between lattice Boltzmann Equation and macroscopic Navier-Stokes equations is introduced,. and introduce some common boundary conditions are discussed, and detailed introduce no equilibrium state extrapolation method, which is used in this text.In applied part. First, simple simulate 2-D lid driven cavity, obtain flow field characteristics in different Reynolds numbers, and result accordant with literature cite. With the simulation in square pillar, respectively discuss square pillar in wall and center, when square pillar in the wall, analyze the influence of Reynolds numbers to reflow area of behind of square pillar, when square pillar in the center, simulate eddy fall out phenomenon. Finally, use this method try to simulate Labyrinth Seal Models, obtain flow field characteristics and leak rate in different gap width and cavum depth.
