Molecular deposition films drive is a new nanometer filmss drive technology. Films drive has features of low density, low investment; it has simple operation process, can make use of existing water injection pattern and facilities during field test, will not need specially trained personal, and oil increment is obvious during field test. Therefore, it has the potential of becoming a prospecting new"water drive improving"EOR technology.In 1998, Xinglongtai oil production plant conducted a Molecular films drive field test in well group Xing 53 in block Xing 42 which was a highly heterogeneous reservoir and in the"two-high stage". In this test, part of the observation wells had obviously increased daily oil production. Considering the Molecular films has succeeded to certain extent in well group 53 in 1998, it was decided to extend Molecular films drive in block Xing 212 in 1999. By the end of December 2000, oil increment in the whole block was 3235.6 t, cumulative gas increment was 32.5×10~4 m~3. We can see that this technology is effective.Although Molecular films drive test has extended from well group to oil block and achieved certain effect, this can only represent for one type of fault block, and can not be used as fully evaluation for films technology. So that, In order to further testify the feasibility of Molecular films drive technology, we selected block Xing 136 from Xinglongtai oil field to further enlarge MD films drive test. On the basis of deep study into affecting element, injection parameters and potential projection, some mechanisms of MD films drive have been understood, including changing reservoir wettability, strengthening spontaneous seeping and absorbing, increasing water molecule diffusion coefficient and slightly decreasing interfacial tension. Implement plan for field test was designed. Films agent injection started from may 8th 2007. After one month of films drive, oil wells showed effectiveness. Among 13 observation wells in the block, there are 9 of them have showed films drive effectiveness. Daily oil production has increased from 31.3 t before films drive to 38 t at present. Water cut has decreased, and the highest decrement is 10 %. Oil increasing trend is favorable.
