In petro-chemical enterprises, most of tanks used to store the production of raw materials and finished products are steel atmospheric pressure.A strong earthquake would lead to larger dynamic response of tank, causing dynamic buckling, and finally caused serious damage,which can lead to huge expense of national economy and production. Therefore, it is a certain economic and social benefits for dynamic response and dynamic buckling of tanks.In the past, for dynamic response analysis of tank, a lot of scholars will simplify the tank for opening tank, overlooked tank roof on the impact of tank in seismic response analysis, but in the actual project, tank roof have a significant impact on tank in the dynamic response analysis, especially for the stress of upper tank and liquid sloshing. And the acceleration load way is the main seismic loads; however, the studies suggest that displacement loading is superior to the acceleration load. It is difficult to determine the relationship between the displacement and acceleration according to Seismological Bureau seismic wave record. The numerical differentiation relationship between displacement and acceleration of sinusoidal harmonic is very easy to determine. Therefore, the comparative studies of displacement loading and acceleration loading for the vault anchorage tank with adopting sinusoidal harmonic are carried out in this paperAbout Storage Tank buckling research has always been a hot and difficult area of research. In the past, based on model deformation or the critical stress value of seismic code to determine wall buckling, but the actual damage and the situation does not match, and for the buckling Qualitative research is very small. In this paper, some preliminary research is done for this point.The main research work as followings:1. An investigation about damagement on the tank is carried out, the research development of tank and a brief introduction for the tank roof are provided. Dynamic buckling research development of structure is gived out. Finally, the main contents of this paper are put forward.2. The main contents of dynamic response of tank as well as anti-seismic norms of tank design concept are summed up, and dynamic response analysis of the contents of the countries give the formula for calculating the norm, compared and analyzed. On the dynamic buckling of cylindrical shell research, the introduction of the six dynamic buckling criterions is detailed.3. 3000m 3 vault anchorage tank is analysed under the harmonic waves on the displacement loading, dynamic response analysis is given up; and is made comparative analysis with on acceleration loading. 4. For three different ratio of height to diameter of vault anchorage tank are made dynamic buckling analysis based on displacement loading, until opened plastic yield. According to B-R dynamic buckling criteria, mapping the characteristics of the node's"pseudo equilibrium paths" trajectory to determine the critical acceleration peak, determine tank dynamic buckling and do plastic yield analysis.5. Conclusions: the results of research in this paper are systematic summarized and the further research in depth content closely related to the work this paper is proposed.
