In recent years, with the high-speed development of the national economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, automobile consumption has become one of hot spots and bright spots for people in China to upgrade consumption. The automobile brings the convenience for people's life, at the same time also brought many questions. There are still many serious shortcomings need to be solved urgently, of which the automobile lightweight is a big one.Bending is one of the most common metal forming processes in automobile industry. At present ,there are much reaserch on ordinary low-carbon steel bending,but little on aluminum alloy and high strength steel bending at home and abroad .So the study on bending properties of aluminum alloy and high strength steel is obviously of great both theoretical and practical significance.This paper take aluminum plates (1060).and high strength steel plate (QSTE460) as research objects..The most essential characteristics of plastic deformation were analyzed..By utilizing work-hardening of power function law, considering displacement of neutral layer and thickness change of material in deforming zone,a new theoretical calculation formula about bending force is established, alse a new theoretical model about springback is discussed and proposed based on plastic deformation characteristics of work-hardening of power function law. Die compensation is studied by using the knowledge of plastic mechanics and rebound theory,,the parameter formulas of die compensation are deduced.In order to verify above theory, 4 group of technological experiments about two kinds of research materials are made,of which the mould designed according to the compensation formula. The corresponding bending force-stroke curve,rebound value and maxium bending force are obtained.Simulation experiment was carried on via the Dynaform. Several results obtained as follow:the distribution of equivalent stress and strain,bending force-time curve,the peak bending force,the distribution of strain in thickness direction, and some theoretical characteristics in the process of bending deformation was verifid.
