Compared with the traditional injection molding technology, rapid heat cycling molding(RHCM) have some advantage, such as eliminating some potential molding defects including weld mark, flow mark, darks spots, sliver mark, etc, improving the product quality and strength, solving the surface shrink and smoothness , no need to paint, shortening the period of the product and so on.. Meanwhile, for the character of the self-design and processing of the rapid heat product, it will be challenged for the raw materials, processing mould and equipment, product structure, and the processing technique will be more complex, the condition will be more sensitive, so it is easier to happen defects such as warpage and sink marks. How to control these surface defects and the quality of the product is the emphasis of this paper.The core of this study is to research the main technical parameter which influent the parts surface quality manufactured by RHCM technology, establish their controlmodel, control and forecast their defects.During the research of this paper, the main processing factors of affecting partssurface quality had been analyzed and summarized from the Injection Molding point of view firstly .According to different kinds of surface defects quality of the thin-wall parts, "Rapid Heat Cycling and Surface Quality Control Molding" was established. In this phase, various kinds of technology or method have been used, including Design of Experience (DOE), CAE technology (Moldflow Plastic Insight, MPI), Response Surface Methodology (RSM), as well as analysis of variance method (ANOVA), etc. While the optimization strategy introduced in this paper is genetic algorithm (GA). During the second stage carried out, because the traditional genetic algorithm has contradiction between in the global research and the local research, as well as the shortage in local research, in forecasting the thin-wall parts injecting parameters, the genetic algorithm optimized (GAO) has been created according to the shortage of traditional genetic algorithm.Finally, one kind of LED TV set shell were introduced to test Rapid Heat Cycling and Surface Quality Control Molding from the standpoint of numerical simulation and application, which has obtained satisfying quality .The result shows it is feasible and reasonable.
