Research Of Pattern Design In Multi-bar Raschel Lace Applied To Bra

With the improvement of modern weaving technology, most of laces are produced by machines in the market, besides minute quantities are hand knitted. As a main product among knitted laces, multi-bar raschel lace is widely used in the design of modern underwear, especially used for bra to get excellent adornment effect.From the perspective of adornment and aesthetics, this paper describes basic adornment features of bra, generalizes basic adornment types and concludes basic elements of pattern design of multi-bar raschel lace. The goal is to study specific methods of pattern design of multi-bar raschel lace for bra, to combine the art with technique, and to give a body of theory on pattern design applicable to production practice. The main studies include:Describe the classification and features of aesthetics in bra adornment, analyze graphic illustration of application of multi-bar raschel lace in bra, and emphasize an inevitable trend of modern bra design's giving more and more importance to the aesthetics of adornment.Technological characteristics of multi-bar raschel lace, such as the classification, organizational level, materials etc. are illustrated with vivid pictures based upon collection and arrangement of relevant files. Sizes, specifications and spread patterns of multi-bar raschel lace textiles for bra are summarized. Adornment style of multi-bar raschel lace for bra is concluded.Based upon summary and accumulation in pattern design practices, the pattern design process is soundly divided into three steps: design concept, design expression and design modification.
